Norkia is undoubtedly the market leader in mobile phones in India. But Samsung is trying hard for sometime to gain market share in India. In this regard they they launched the Guru series of mobile phones. The Guru series comprises of basic mobile phones but has large array of features at low price. Also, the attractive look and good battery back up make them a very attractive option. The Guru series has 4 models - Guru 100, Guru 145, Guru 200 and Guru 300.
Today we will talk about Guru 145. It is a light weight, sleek and attractive looking cell phone which has been priced optimally to gain market share. It has colour display, 500 memory phonebook, Hindi typing enabled, voice clarity, 8 - 9 hours battery backup, 65K Colour CSTN display, Speakerphone, Mobile tracker and 16 poly ringtones. It is available in the market at around Rs 1600 in India. I suggest you buy from subhiksha, where you can get the same Guru 145 at Rs 1400 along with a free sim card. However, you will have to recharge there for the first time. One thing I would have wanted with this mobile phone is the FM feature. Unfortunately, FM is not available. May be in future they can include FM and if cost do not cover, they can increase the price by Rs 100 - 150.
Mobile phone model: SCH Guru 145
Vendor: Samsung
Price: Rs 1400 at Subhiksha
