  Bangaloreans have a new way of experiencing shopping from home. Yes, shop in Bangalore even without stepping our of your home. Ecityindia.com is the portal which offers to buy the products which you will order on their portal. This should be handy for people who have no time or do not like visiting market place. Hungry and you do not want to go out! Order from around 120 restaurants on their website.

  These guys seems to have kept security as the first concern. As they allow to make purchase only with your own credit card. If your first time purchase is a large sum then they even ask you to sign a purchase agreement to authorize the order. Ecityindia support secure socket layer (SSL) for secure transactions. Basically what they have tied up with various vendors. Once you made the purchase, they ship the goods from the vendors location to your destination. They claim to send the goods typically within 48 hours. However, be careful to enter your address properly. If they are unable to find your address because of wrong input and the goods are redirected then you will be charged extra. But there is catch, the minimum purchase should be for Rs 1000 or above.

  Ecityindia also has a good return policy. They will accept any return if is it their mistake. All goods until it can be sold and in original manufacturer package. One can cancel their order by filling up a cancel form. Customers even have the right to refuse goods once it reaches their door. In such cases they will receive refunds only for merchandise. So service charge is extra. In fact they charge 2 percent extra from the mrp.

  The founder of this site is Arun Sundaram. He said capitalized on the idea that people may not like standing on the queue or do not want to spend too much while shopping.
