  • How to Reset Your Browser – Internet Explorer

    To your reset your browser Microsoft Internet Explorer try the following steps as follows:

    For Internet Explorer 6:

    1. Go to “Tools” option in the main menu bar located on the top.

    2. From the drop down menu select “Internet options”.

    3. On the “Internet options” windows select “Advanced” on the extreme right hand side.

    4. On this page click on “Restore to default” at the bottom.

    5. Click on “Apply” and then on “Ok”.

    For For Internet Explorer 7, 8 and 9:

    1. Go to “Tools” option in the main menu bar located on the top.

    2. From the drop down menu select “Internet options”.

    3. On the “Internet options” windows select “Advanced” on the extreme right hand side.

    4. On this page click on “Reset” at the bottom.

    5. You will be asked to confirm whether you would like to reset your browser. Click on “yes”.

    6. Click on “Apply” and then on “Ok”.

    7. You will asked to close and re-open Internet Explorer for the settings to take effect.

    Note: Please note that if you reset your browser Internet Explorer, you would like loose your browsing history, cookies, temporary Internet files, saved form data, saved passwords, and auto-complete data. However, it does not remove bookmarks or favorites.

In addition, IE 9 is equipped with tools like user-agent switching tool, a network traffic inspector, an improved java-script profiler, and integrated support for new web standards.     Troubleshooting:

    Audio Issues: Please follow these steps to resolve any audio issues if you face during the session:
    1. Click on Voice and Video button in the Live Meeting Console and then un-mute the speaker’s icon from there.

    If the speaker’s icon is greyed out, please close the session and join the meeting again.

    If you see Join Audio under Voice & Video tab, then click on it to connect to the audio.

    2. In case the Speaker Icon on the top menu bar is disabled, then exit the current session and re-join. Please ensure that you have:

    Windows Media Player 9 or above, you have Windows Live Meeting 2007 installed and you are not trying to view the session on Internet Explorer. Please ensure that you have adequate bandwidth.

    Also, the computer Audio controls should not be set to ‘mute’.

    Conference Centre: If you are still unable to troubleshoot the audio problem, you have the option to connect to the conference centre and hear the session broadcast.

    Dial 1-203-4808000 or 1-866-500-6738 (Toll-Free through Skype) and enter 2989570 (this passcode will be same for all the Internet Explorer 9 webcast sessions) as participant passcode to connect to the Webcast session.
