The new Ipod Nano comes with a built in video camera which lets you record anything at will. You need to scroll through the round menu to reach the video camera. There are two ways to record – portrait or landscape. You can also send this videos to Facebook or Mobileme. A built in mic also lets you capture sound. You can edit your video right on your Ipod with special effects like sepia etc.

IPod nano now has a polished anodised aluminium finish and comes in 9 colours. It features a larger 2.2 display.

Another great feature added was FM radio + Live Pause. Simply you can listen to song played by FM radio stations in your city. Also, you can pause them live. Also, the VoiceOver has been added.

Note to self are Voice Memos which can be created as reminders. It will playback whatever you have record and set alarm at a particular time.

The Apple Ipod comes in 5 new colours – black, silver, pink, green and blue. When I bought my Ipod shuffle 2 GB, only there colors were available. Also, the voice over feature was not available. Ipod shuffle was available only in 2 size 1 GB and 2 GB. Apple has come out with a 4 GB version sometime back.

The voice over is a great add to the Ipod shuffle. If you are listening to a song and want to know the title or the artist. All you need to do is press a button and VoiceOver tells you. You can even hear the names of your playlists. It even tells when your battery needs charging. With 4 GB size, now one can load upto 1000 songs. Read more ….
