Microsoft is trying hard to get its Internet Explorer (IE) users to upgrade to IE8. Though the competition in the browser market has become fierce with Firefox and Google Chrome. IE9 is in testing mode now. Even with IE9 Microsoft is trying to drive its new OS Windows 7. Because IE9 will not work with Windows XP which hold around 58% OS market share world wide now. IE9 is bringing many new path breaking features like Flying Images, Text Size Animated, Test Justification Animated, Map Zooming, Pulsating Bubbles etc.

IE9 will also bring in the new standard of HTML called HTML 5, CSS3, DOM events and DOM style, GPU power graphics offered by HTML 5.

System Requirements

Internet Explorer Platform Preview requires Windows 7 or Windows Vista SP2. That is IE9 will most probably run only from Windows Vista SP2 onwards.
