2010 is here and blogging has picked up stream in last few years. Now you might ask a question why should I have any resolution? I just blog for myself. I agree with your if you are blogging for yourself then you are already a winner. But then comes the next two categories who wants to show their work, get noticed and in the process make some money. Well there is also a extreme section coming up slowly which wants to earn a living from blogging called professional blogger.
If you are in the last two categories then I think it is time to take stock who did your blog do last year and what you might do to put some gas into it. New year resolution with time bound targets are important and very helpful. As they are measurable in terms of effort and success.
It is wise to set reasonable targets in the beginning. Deciding work projects with targets is not enough. You will have to write it down in a place which has to be reviewed periodically as set by you.
So what is your blogging resolution for this new year 2010? Share your thoughts on how you planning and want to take your blog forward.
Here are my resolution:
1. Write more articles
2. Add full fledged forum
3. Read more vigoriously
4. Experiment with gadgets
5. Learn something new (designing, a language etc)What are going to be yours?

Filed under Online Application, ServiceJan 2If you are new to a place then finding direction is a task in itself. And in big cities there are many places we may not even know. If we were to venture there you may have to spent time asking for direction or in confusion. So what if something was there using which we could find the direction and get a picture of the place even before setting our foot out of home.
Yes, it is possible with MapMyIndia. Today, I am going to show how you can use the free MapMyIndia service to navigate in Indian cities. Lets get started:
How to do that:
1. Visit – www.mapmyindia.com
2. on site “top, right hand side” look for direction tab and below in the text box enter your starting destination and final destination.3. It shows a detailed route map along with distance and time. It also gives proper direction to reach your destination.
4. If you are looking for a destination within your city, I suggest you enter your city name at the end. Or you will face what happened with me. I did not enter Bangalore after Shivajinagar. The map came up with Indiranagar, Bangalore to Shivajinagar, Kanpur in UP.
5. You can print the map, send as sms, link/embed, share on yahoo, facebook.
6. MapmyIndia also allows you participate by adding your own locations on the map.
