Over the period of last few weeks I found a burst of new interfaces on popular internet applications like Orkut, Adsense and now Yahoo Mail. I saw the new interface of Yahoo mail few days days back and I liked it instantly. I am not sure how old is the new interface as I have opened yahoo after a long time.

The new yahoo mail interface has given so much right inside your email inbox. You can check news, climate update, chat with your buddies of yahoo messenger from inside your inbox as Gmail. News is feed depending on the region you are in. I will jot down the new features as follows:

2. Get updates from people on yahoo network if mutually request is confirmed.

3. Applications like calender, personal photo album and notepad added.

4. Birthday reminders

5. Prioritize email

6. Check what your friends doing online, provided you sign-up for the update service

7. Email is now read in the fashion of Mozilla Thunderbird.

8. Drag and drop emails to folders for better organization.

9. Yahoo is trying to give it email platform a new social network dimension.
